We are seeking an organized, proactive, and collaborative HR professional to join our team as a Talent Acquisition and Retention Coordinator to help attract, select and onboard talented individuals who lead with empathy, embrace innovation, and are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient and family experiences.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Join GBGH at an exciting time of transformation as we enhance and modernize our recruitment program. Reporting to the Manager, People & Culture, the Talent Acquisition and Retention Coordinator supports the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes, helping to attract and welcome qualified candidates who contribute to exceptional patient- and family-centered care.
Working collaboratively with leaders, candidates, and People & Culture team members, the Coordinator provides day-to-day recruitment and onboarding support while ensuring compliance with collective agreements, employment legislation, and organizational policies. The role is responsible for coordinating recruitment activities, maintaining recruitment data and records, supporting recruitment systems and processes, and helping to deliver an efficient and positive experience for candidates, hiring leaders, and new employees as well as supporting retention initiatives throughout the employee lifecycle.
